Ewart, remember by A-Team game at FB?

At the end of the scenario the 6 man a team had to get extracted via (imaginary) helicopter, only Mr T wouldn't get on board so they had to drug some milk to get him on. Sticking point was, the only milk around was at the other end of the site so they had to fight all the way through the enemy. Extra points were awarded if you kept your finger on the trigger and pointed your gun in the air as you fell over, no-one got hit by bullets they just had to jump out of the way then brush themselves down, all A-Team characters had to audibly shout their catchphrases at least twice within hearing of a marshall to win.

The Sea Scouts are on manouvres

The St Trinian gals are on a cheer up the boys campaign with some local based commandos...

However not all is well...

well you could trim it down a tad to just Dads Army plus Dr Who....btw the Daleks always loose!

no no no, the st trinians cant be removed, they are totally essental to the plot.

have a 20 pound per player fee so that "MODELS" can be hired to fill this role

i would deffinatly pay to "play" in this game

got piss wet through, fired my weapon twice in the entire game, the second time at point blank range at which point the 4 Germans promptly became bulletproof (absorbing 30 rounds) and peppered me. It's not that I didn't enjoy it, just don't like cheaters. .

Why leave it all this time and mention it now **scratchhes head** as for shooting pointblank range (as I take that as its read ie bloody close) if you'd have done that to me you'd have got a clip round the ear  then spanked pubically :raspberry:

PS Che said I can't say that but I have :D I think anyone shot at that range would have known and not been "bullet proof" I felt shots from many feet away and shouted hit countless times that weekend, othertimes we didn't see anyone **yawns**

Hey I just come along for the exercise, nevermind playing soldiers, it's just a damn sight more interesting than doing a 5km run followed by press ups. Anyway I don't care what the new scenario is just as long as it isn't as German biased and down right depressing as Churchills Revenge. (no offence to the organisers) I got piss wet through, fired my weapon twice in the entire game, the second time at point blank range at which point the 4 Germans promptly became bulletproof (absorbing 30 rounds) and peppered me. It's not that I didn't enjoy it, just don't like cheaters. Anyway I'll have a think about some scenarios.

Perehaps you'd better stick to open days where you can blat off 1,000,000 rounds without any subtllety of plot at all mate. Oh yeah and indoors so you don't get wet poor thing .

Listen I appreciate it was a good day! Don't patronise me! Subtlety of plot, oooo I'm sorry does that include the Germans driving round in jeeps and trucks all day whilst the allies traipse through deep undergrowth. I didn't want to fire 1,000,000 rounds; breaking 100 would've been nice though. The whole plot was biased for the Germans to win. If that was the idea then fair enough, but you can't call it an airsofting event if you don't shoot at anyone all day...thats called rambling. Don't be so touchy for Godsake.

Speirs, there was a point when I asked you to get some guys together and back me and four other guys up in a push down the road in the back of one of the captured jeeps and when the proverbial hit the fan you were nowhere to be seen.

I have to say, this sort of game tends to be what you make of it and you left before the end.

I'll leave it at that.

And I'm afraid it has to be said, calling your fellow airsofters cheaters isn't going to win you any friends at all. Bad form old boy, bad form.

Of course  the whole thing was written for only half of the players ot have a good time , I'm sure Headshot and Yith would have something ot say about that, or perhaps they were just stupid and didn't recognise my pisstaking scenario in the hundreds of hours we spent planning the event. I seem ot recall you were one of the ones who claimed they were reasonable fit, although walking 1 km seem ot have finished you off.
I'm fat and forty and yet am able ot cope with IED 24 hour events in mid winter . You also may have fired a few more rounds off if you'd stuck about for more than 5 hours of the whole 24, or used your banned radio more .
And yeah I am touchy, we don't do this for any financial benefit we do it for the sheer enjoyment of others . Simple things like building a fecking large V1 and transporting it from Yorkshire ot North Wales took over 1000 miles of driving along and 00's of hours of construction when i could have been doing something better with my time.

Saying you had a bad day, or the weather was shit and put a downer on it I can go for, telling me the whole thing was biased from the start or that everyone was cheating is utter nonsense.

Frankly Spiers you're talking out of the seat of your pants again same as after Arnhem , if you don't like CiA games don't come , simple as that .

Fair enough but you did also say keep in the trees then zoomed off at 30mph. By the time we'd moved further up we couldn't even see you. But to back up my point, that was one of only two engagements on the whole day. I'm not gung ho but a little bit more contact would've been nice AND I appreciate realism and having a plot it makes it interesting BUT not a plot which is prohibitivaly restricting. Oh and by the way thankyou (Headshot) for speaking to me like and adult, when I send a post I don't love getting spoken to like I've just emerged from a Nursery.

Sorry, but that's just bullcrap. as a german player, there was only one mass vehicle patrol on the saturday as far as i'm aware, and that got massacred in a superb allied ambush (where many, many allied rounds got fired off, several into my face), and at another point one of the landies was captured and used by the allies too.

Also, during the game, i spent the best part of 2 hours 'rambling' through the woods and didn't even see an allied troop, let alone fire any rounds off, i think the technical term was called 'patrolling' BTW, not 'rambling'. It happens to be part of large games.

It didn't help that the weather meant that so many of the allies dissolved before saturday evening meaning that the Germans also had sheer numbers on their side.

I think you've got yourself mixed up spears. there was nothing biased about the event, the whole point of the walk through the woods was to simulate the drop. It made it very realistic and tense IMO and I enjoyed it. The whole scenario was planned out brilliantly I felt.

Even at times of innactivity it was made to be interesting and involving. When HS had you guys ambushing the vehicle I was up top of the hill keeping a perimiter incase the germans came along the top and keeping a eye open for any allies who hadnt made it yet. Basically I was stood scanning the woods for 40 mins. And I enjoyed it! because it felt immersive and that anything could happen. We'd been attacked on the way there so it was perfectly feasable they could have come at us from that way.

And then we moved down to attack the 88. during that I fired plenty of shots as did others so again where were you during that because that was a huge firefight.

It sounds to me perhaps you want something more fast paced than cia events perhaps you should try some regular milsim events instead. One thing I will say you want to be careful calling people cheaters anywhere, but especially in such a tight nit community as this. I didnt once see anyone not taking hits during the game.
